  • Why You Skip Your Meal Plan And Fall Off The Wagon

What if you can’t stick to a meal plan despite your best intentions? You want to stick with it but in the end you skip your meal plan.

One woman I’m working with has an extremely busy schedule! Plus, she had a chaotic childhood where dinner wasn’t served every night.

Various nutritionists, doctors and dietitians have explained to her about the important of a meal plan.

  • “Following a meal plan helps you avoid getting too hungry. If you get too hungry, you’ll binge.”
  • “Following a meal plan helps you plan out your food intake instead of leaving what you eat to chance.”

Now in the past this woman tried to follow these meals plans. But somehow she would always ‘fall off the wagon’, as she would say. Something would always come up.

  • She’d had to call her parents.
  • She’d work all day and then take a class at night
  • Various deadlines

At first she said, “If only I had more time. Then I would have time to meal prep and do everything perfectly. Then I wouldn’t skip the meal plan.”

But in the midst of the pandemic she realized something startling once she started working from home.

Even though she gained an extra 2 hours per day and had plenty of time to meal prep, she would still skip meals and end up binge eating! She had the intention and desire to follow standard medical advice.

But she couldn’t bring herself too. It was like her eating behaviors were being controlled by powerful forces within her that she couldn’t grasp despite her best efforts. If you are struggling with self sabotage, be sure to watch this video.

As of July 4th, I’m going to be diving deeper into the psychology of food and emotions. This skip meal plan video is where I really try to go in depth to explain.

  • Why you operating out of the wrong layer of your brain
  • How you can identify the subconscious feelings, emotions and beliefs that make you overeat
  • Figure out what you can do to prevent anxiety and perfectionistic thoughts and food cravings

Hope you enjoy the video!
