Nausea can be very bothersome, especially if you have queasy stomach pain and an uncomfortable vomiting tendency along with it.

From morning sickness during pregnancy to motion sickness or even acidity, there are multiple reasons for nausea. So finding a home remedy that works for you without having to rush to a pharmacy is crucial. Let’s explore some tips that will take care of your nausea in the comfort of your home.

  • THCA Based Products

One of the most interesting ways by which you can get comfort from nausea at home is cannabis. However, with its psychoactive properties, it can do more harm to some users.

High THCA hemp flower can be a wonderful alternative as it is non-psychoactive and has antiemetic properties, making it an ideal home remedy for nausea at home.

  • Ginger

Ginger has been used for centuries as a natural home remedy to calm nausea. With its anti-inflammatory and calming properties, it can be used to soothe an upset stomach. If you don’t want to chew on some raw ginger, you can try having ginger in various ways:

  1. Ginger-tea

Cut the ginger into small slices and throw them in hot water. Let the water boil for a while so that the ginger can infuse in the water. And that’s all you need to make ginger tea! Take small sips and see yourself feeling better.

  1. Ginger Candy

Who doesn’t love chews or gummies with health benefits? Keep some ginger candies or chews at home. These can be very handy as you can simply pop one in your mouth whenever you feel nauseous.

  1. Ginger Ale

An effervescent ginger ale can quickly soothe nausea. Both the ginger and the effervescent are great for this. It’s better to opt for the natural ones as commercial ginger ales can have added preservatives.

  • Peppermint Oil

Since the period of ancient Greece, Egypt, and Rome, peppermint has been used for the treatment of gastrointestinal issues as well as other ailments. Irritable bowel syndrome and indigestion can both be treated with its leaves and oil.

  1. Inhaling Peppermint Oil

Add a few drops of peppermint oil to your diffuser and inhale the vapor. The smell can quickly comfort nausea.

  1. Peppermint Tea

One of the most popular ways to consume this medication is through peppermint tea. Due to the cold’s ability to lessen nausea, iced peppermint tea may offer further advantages.

  1. Massaging Your P6 Pressure Point

Locate your P6 pressure point first. Put your index finger on your inner forearm, just about three finger-widths below your wrist. That is where you want to massage in circular motions to help relieve nausea.

  1. Sea-Band Technique

Gravity assists in keeping your stomach contents down when you remain upright. The greatest option if you want to get rid of nausea is to sit up straight or lie down with your head supported up on a few pillows. 

  • Take Vitamin B6 Supplement

Pyridoxine, or vitamin B6, has been proven to have the capacity to reduce nausea during pregnancy. There is a common tendency for pregnant women to prefer vitamin B6 pills over traditional nausea treatments.

Without the risk of unfavorable side effects, a daily dose of 200 mg can be administered throughout pregnancy.

A study showing the advantages of the supplement in reducing nausea in pregnant women who took 25 mg of vitamin B6 three times per day for three days was published.

The group of ladies who got a placebo, devoid of vitamin B6 or any nausea-alleviating ingredients, experienced greater instances of nausea.
