I wanted to take a strong stance on study drugs, so here we go:

You may have heard about learning drug or something similar that will help you with your education. It must be safe and it is something you will want to use as long as needed, without any risk. These are just a few myths you may have heard of. Below we are going to explain the topic in details and reveal shocking truth.

Study Drugs: Basics

There are countless study pills for students that look safe. These are known as stimulants and the idea is that these will help you learn harder and with more success. Some of the best examples are Vyvanse, Adderall and Dexedrine. In general, students think that all of these drugs increase learning capability. Yes, these are legal in many states but drugs essay topics and papers claim that these can be addictive and cause all sorts of issues in students! An essay with positive effects of these drugs is hard to find. This is because there are no any.

You may believe that you will write a much better essay when using study drugs, but this is another myth. The truth is actually something completely different than you believe in right now and something you need to understand more and protect yourself. All essays still need proper research and a lot of time paired with interesting options that can help.

Students have been taking medication for studying due to the aforementioned myths among other things. They believe that these drugs are safe (these are prescription drugs after all) and that they can boost the learning capability.

In other words, a student will learn faster and more efficiently. A task that requires 3 hours of your time can be completed within 30 minutes. All drugs that help you study come with these benefits and they are safe after all.

Keep in mind that many students simply don’t have time to complete all the tasks so they will need some sort of help at some point. There are countless examples of what students have been using and what they even invented for these purposes.

Risks Study Drugs Bring

The study drugs list is extremely long and you can see countless options. The best thing we can reveal is that all of these have no effect or similar side effects. For instance, you won’t improve your learning capabilities. You will just think like that.

When compared to a student who didn’t use these drugs you will perform identical or you may be even slower. Your knowledge or access to it won’t be improved either. In general, you will only think that you study better but your results will be the same. These drugs do not give you better memory, better focus or anything like that.

These are not safe when taken without medical recommendation and you can end up with addiction. Even more severe is the fact you can get irregular heartbeats, impotence, diarrhea, higher blood pressure, insomnia, and many other issues.

There are countless topics that tell you the side effects and all of them are very long and problematic. In general, these medications can have a negative impact on brain communication and cause all kinds of severe health complications in students.

Then we can see another type of base issues. According to the recent paper, these drugs can affect your mood, your focus, and your short-term memory in a negative way. In other terms, these drugs can make it impossible for you to sit down and prepare for college. Some medications will even make you impulsive and affect your behavior which is a huge problem today.

You may be one of those who are selling these drugs or ‘’helping out’’ your friends. This is not something you will have to do and something you should stop immediately. You can and you will hurt your friends.

The Final Word

There are many over the counter study drugs and all of them must be avoided. These drugs do not help you and they won’t help your education or learning. But, they can cause addiction, interfere with your brain and with your body.

You can end up with severe health problems and you can make your time at college impossible. As such, you should not take these and try to help others who are taking the medications.

Why don’t you try green tea instead?

Finally, I know I usually talk about bingeing on this website. If you are curious about my perspectives on binge eating medications, I feel the same way for the most part!
