health principles with mark mohammadpour quote

Are you curious about fitness trackers and keeping track of your time?

Do you like SMART goals, productivity and organizing your time?

If you are an analytical person and you want to learn about health principles based on time management … keep reading.

This health principles article covers 4 main points:

  • The beginning of Mark’s 110 weight loss journey
  • First principle – Prepare for tomorrow, today
  • Second principle – Respect your time
  • Third principle – Examine to eliminate overeating

These principles are all perfect for an analytical, organized person. Just be careful you don’t fall for the trap of spending too much time thinking, lost in your head … action is what counts!

Now, moving onwards! Here is the video of Mark’s powerful and unique story if you’d like to take a listen …

(Please note these two words ‘powerful’ and unique’. More on these two words below …)

Here is a link to the MP3 podcast too!

Powerful Because Of Weight Loss; Unique Due To Principles

Mark’s story is powerful because he lost 110 pounds and kept the weight off. His story is true. His story is powerful.

But losing weight fast is not unique.

Losing weight fast grabs your attention and is powerful, but you’ve seen the magazines before with their outrageous stories. You’ve seen the weight loss advertisements claiming that Suzie lost 40 lbs in 4 months, etc, etc.

And you’ve lost weight yourself … only to gain the weight back. No shame. Just facts. So don’t concentrate on the fast weight loss part of Mark’s story.

The weight loss part of Mark’s story is powerful, but not unique. Mark’s weight loss simply means that Mark has something to say. He has some wisdom.

But don’t focus on Mark’s weight loss. Focus on Mark’s wisdom and health principles.

(Hint: it’s Mark’s wisdom which makes his story unique. Perhaps if you apply Mark’s wisdom and stop thinking about weight loss you’ll become healthier and lose some weight as a byproduct.)

Please note: while Mark’s story does naturally center around weight loss, Mark does not recommend dieting or any sort of restriction. In Mark’s system you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want.

This idea is in alignment with the Eating Enlightenment philosophy which is not against weight loss, but rather the Eating Enlightenment philosophy is against the pursuit of weight loss.

So what makes Mark’s journey unique?

If weight loss is what gives Mark’s story gravity and power (but is not unique) what makes Mark’s story unique?

Here’s what makes Mark’s approach unique …

In my Eating Enlightenment podcast I have had the opportunity to interview dozens of people who have recovered from their eating struggles …

But never before have I encountered an approach so rooted in time management principles.

Mark uses health principles based on self-analysis, time boundaries, prioritization, and reflection to help clients become healthier.

He is determined to help others lose weight and live a lifestyle that will benefit themselves and those around them.

Since launching his company in 2019, Mark has worked with people across the country to help them prioritize their health and wellness, reduce stress, grow in their career, and thrive.

Now let’s dive into Mark’s story and then cover his 3 health principles based on time management!

First principle – Prepare for tomorrow, today

  • time management principle from Mark’s career
  • prepare for crisis beforehand
  • if you can’t make an exercise class then what’s your backup exercise?
  • mindset: focus on what you can control

Second principle – Respect your time

  • most people list themselves last on their relationship pyramid y
  • you can’t give all your time to other people
  • you need to draw some boundaries for yourself
  • there’s no formula for how much time you ‘should’ spend exercising or meal prepping
  • you have to examine how much time you spend on your daily activities

Third principle – Examine to eliminate overeating

  • Mark never tells clients to restrict or stop eating certain foods
  • be a scientist and study how foods make you feel afterwards
  • analyze timing, frequency of eating and quantity to discover what feels best for you
